Today I’m preppy chic for spring in a cable knit polo sweater and wide leg cropped pants. The pants I kept from an earlier Nuuly box and this sweater was from my most recent box. These pieces together make for the perfect casual look this season. Easy breezy my friends!

Preppy Chic for Spring
Tennis anyone? (Or pickleball in my case.) Who wouldn’t fall in love with this short sleeve sweater from Anthropologie? The retro style collar, the shoulder stripes, and preppy cable knit combination make this short sleeve sweater extra special. It’s the perfect top for the chillier side of spring which is every other day here in Chicago. It pairs nicely with these high waisted trousers. I still say these trousers are must-have for your spring/summer wardrobe. You just might be seeing another variation of them here on the blog in the near future.
Life Lately
It’s been a pretty busy April for our family. Austin (my youngest) has best taking all his college tests (ACT, SAT) and we have started visiting colleges. (Say it isn’t so?). He wants to go into music just like this mom. This past Friday we visited the VanderCook School of Music in Chicago and next weekend we are heading to Indiana University for a lesson and tour of the Jacobs School of Music. The nice thing is that we are killing two birds with one stone because Evan (my oldest) is conducting a recital when we are there. What are the chances that I will have another child become a Hoosier? I have no idea but want Austin to look at several options.
As for me, I am trying really hard to find new places to perform my healing program. It’s really humbling when you are trying to sell yourself but I’m learning a lot. What has been going on in your neck of the woods?
Have a fabulous week! Xox
