Choosing the right place to build a home goes a long way when it comes to achieving lifelong happiness, especially since your whole life tends to revolve around your postcode.
From cafes to parks, and easy access to the city, there’s a lot of things a home life needs to make it perfect.
Angle Vale is a family-friendly community in Adelaide’s north.
Here’s six reasons why Angle Vale is a hidden gem in Adelaide’s real estate landscape that buyers should have on their radar.
1. A community atmosphere
Nestled in Adelaide’s northern fringes, Angle Vale is a place where tranquillity meets convenience.
The area is laid-back with beautiful rolling hills and quaint country charm, but it also has plenty to offer in terms of things to do.
There are boutique shops to browse, nearby wineries, and award-winning cafes and restaurants located locally to choose from.
2. Great connectivity
For buyers, the ideal neighbourhood has to be well connected, and this postcode won’t disappoint.
Only 30-minutes from the centre of Adelaide and 15-minutes from Gawler, everything is easily commutable.
The suburb has easy access to major highways, so residents can get on the road quickly. It’s also got public transport options with the Munno Para railway station within a five-minute drive, connected bus routes.
Finally, it’s only a 35-minute drive to the airport for anyone who travels regularly for work.
3. Affordability and value
According to Courtney Clark, Fairland Project Co-ordinator, the region also scores big points in terms of offering value.
She points to their latest Angle Vale community, The Entrance, and says it’s an example of how buyers can find a master planned postcode that’s aspirational and attainable.
Set near green open spaces and wineries, Angle Vale has country-style charm within 30 minutes of the CBD.
“Value-wise, you get a very prestigious offering for an affordable price,” she says.
“You drive into Fairland’s beautiful community, set amongst vineyards, and our buyers really like that.”
Blocks are also sizeable, with many allotments above 400sqm, so buyers have plenty of room to build their dream home.
She adds that there are smaller blocks starting at $187,000 and house and land packages from $465,000.
Plus, buyers can rest assured they’re getting more bang for their buck with the price being much more competitive than inner-city postcodes.
4. Lifestyle
Having all the essentials that make for comfortable living is basically a prerequisite for anyone looking to buy.
Angle Vale has several reputable schools in the area, including Angle Vale Primary School and the world-class Riverbanks College, which accommodates students from P-12.
The Angle Vale shopping precinct is also well-appointed with a supermarket, restaurants, and cafes. Locally, residents will also find childcare and medical centres, a post office, and a Bunnings Warehouse.
There’s also a variety of recreational areas with sporting clubs, playgrounds, and parks.
“We’re creating exercise areas, walking tracks and playgrounds,” she says.
“You can walk to the schools and restaurants, all within an easy distance, which is the big thing that draws people to the development.”
There’s a “plethora” of home options to choose from, including floorplans and facades.
5. Plenty of choice
From modern townhouses to spacious family homes, buyers in Angle Vale have plenty of beautiful and quality homes to choose from.
Peter Szolga, Fairmont Homes Building Consultant, says a quick visit to The Entrance Display Village shows the “plethora” of home options.
“It’s a generous offering in a sense that with all the designs here, people have got all the shapes and sizes, so there’s something to suit everyone’s budget and needs,” he says. “There are blocks with a 10m frontage, but generally, these days buyers go for the 12.5m option, which means they can have a double garage.
“In terms of facades, it’s a blank canvas. People can come to us, and we can work through what they want. We can run through all those little individual things that people like but within their budget, so it is attainable.”
There’s a range of small to large homes to choose from, and buyers can also check out the Fairmont Signature Collection, which offers dozens of beautiful designs with that extra special touch.
6. Growing popularity
A sign of a great place to live is when others see the opportunity too, and Clark says there’s no shortage of buyers looking in Angle Vale.
“In the community, we’ve sold approximately 190 blocks with many more to come,” she says.
“We get a lot of residents who have bought to The Entrance. They’re investing in their dream homes, which means we’re nurturing a very family-friendly vibe.”
