The ex-CUB chief purchased the five-bedroom home at 38 Chrystobel Cres for $4.45m, and has now put it on the market with a lofty $6.5m-$7m asking price.
Mr Filipovic said he had loved living at the 827sq m property for the past eight years.
“The proximity for our kids to private schooling, the train station and everything Glenferrie Rd has to offer when it comes to cafes and restaurants is second to none,” he said. “It is a brilliant family home.”
A classic 1890 Victorian-era facade with a veranda featuring original lacework conceals a stylish and contemporary renovation at the rear of the home.
Here, a heated swimming pool, spa and lush gardens by landscape architect John Patrick are found.

Jellis Craig Boroondara agent Mike Beardsley the listing was a “unique opportunity” to buy a property in a very tightly-held, esteemed estate near Grace Park.
“There’s been interest from far and wife but mainly young families upsizing and moving into the area for private secondary schooling,” Mr Beardsley said.
“It’s a pretty Victorian (home) and only metres from Glenferrie Rd in a wide, leafy street with a good amount of accommodation.”
