Today I’m sharing how I’m dressing up for Easter Sunday in a marvelous maxi skirt. You never know what the weather will be like on Easter which is why I thinking of wearing this outfit. I can easily layer over this bodysuit with a blazer or jacket if it’s cool. If it is warmer, I will stick with just the bodysuit on top. The beautiful colors of this skirt embrace the joy of Easter. Can’t believe that we are less than a week away!

Dressing Up for Easter Sunday
The week leading up to Easter is a big one for me because I play my flute for all the Holy Week masses. (Holy Thursday, Good Friday, the Easter Vigil, and Easter Sunday.) Most of the days I dress in black but on Easter Sunday we are encouraged to dress up and wear color. Which is where this fun skirt comes into play. Aren’t the print and colors so gorgeous?
Beside the fun print and colors, I adore the fit. The wrap style is extremely flattering and comfortable. The high low hemline is also a big plus. Being petite, I like hems to be above the knee so I look taller. I get that with this skirt but still get leg coverage of a maxi dress in the back. Genius!
The key with this skirt is to be fitted on top because of the voluminous skirt. Nothing looked right with it except my black bodysuit. Trying to tuck anything in is tough because of the side button at the waist that keeps the skirt on my body. I just hate fussing with tops which is why I always turn to bodysuits.
What are you wearing for Easter?
My Lenten Art Journal
This is the last week of Lent which means I am almost done with my Lenten art journal. So stay tuned for another post this week with all my favorite art journal pages. I might be teaching an introduction to art journaling in tandem with my Healing the Spirit Within One Note at a Time program in the near future. I am so excited about this possibility. Who would have thought that I would teach a class about art? Not me I tell you that!
Have a blessed week my friends! XO
