Tesla officially unveiled the new Model 3 in Malaysia on 19 October 2023, offering the public the opportunity to experience it at Centre Court, Pavilion Damansara Heights in Kuala Lumpur. The occasion also marked the launch of Malaysia’s first Tesla Flagship experience centre, where visitors may discover the full Tesla vehicle lineup, including the Model 3 and Model Y, as well as the company’s mission for accelerating the world’s transition to sustainable energy.
The new Tesla Flagship Experience Centre is situated in the recently completed Pavilion Damansara Heights, an upscale shopping development on Kuala Lumpur’s western outskirts surrounded by popular residential and commercial developments. This flagship centre will serve the affluent suburbs of Bangsar and Damansara Heights, spanning around 3,000 square feet. It will include the whole Tesla product line, including the Model 3 and Model Y, as well as numerous Tesla charging solutions and merchandise. Customers can visit this one-stop shop to learn more about ownership, vehicles, and charging technologies.
Model 3, the world’s best-selling electric vehicle, is now available in both Rear-Wheel Drive and Long Range configurations, with prices starting at RM 189,000. Model 3 goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds and has a single-charge range of up to 629 km (WLTP) with a new exterior style optimised for the most effective aerodynamics. Because to the addition of 360-degree acoustic glass, the Model 3 cabin is now quieter than ever. Ambient lighting, an immersive sound system (developed by Tesla with up to 17 speakers, dual subwoofers, and dual amplifiers), ventilated seats, an 8″ second-row display, a revamped central console, and new wheel options are also included.
