JoJo Siwa is now the proud owner of her very first tattoo, and she brought along Raven-Symoné and wife Miranda Maday as moral support for the grand occasion.
Miranda Maday documented JoJo Siwa‘s first tattoo experience on her Instagram stories, writing, “bb’s first tattoo,” on a black and white snapshot of Siwa lying on a tattoo table with a big smile on her face. If there was any pain, we couldn’t tell!

Siwa’s seemingly simple tattoo has a lot of personal meaning to her. The Dance Moms alum opted for the number “1031” behind her ear, sharing on social media that it references her birth year and her first concert tour.

“The official meaning [of] 1031 is how many days my first concert tour lasted, but then 03 is the year that I was born,” she revealed in a Snapchat video caption with a close-up shot. The tattoo also has a mysterious meaning that, for now, is under wraps. “Three is a significant number, but I can’t say why yet,” wrote Siwa.
Siwa herself also documented the entire process on her Snapchat, where she revealed to fans that she hadn’t actually planned to get her first tattoo then, but the stars aligned. “Here’s the tea: Raven and Miranda have become two of my best friends, and they are going to get a tattoo today. I’m going with them to watch them and support them,” the star recounted on Snapchat. “However, we all know I want to get 1031 behind my right ear. I’ve known it for a long time. Today might be my day. I don’t know. I might do it. I really might do it. Raven and Miranda are convinced that I’m going to do it. I am 99% convinced I want to do it. I’m just undecided on the font.”
As the time approached, Siwa was more and more convinced that she was going to get the tattoo. Once she got to the parlor, she tested out a couple of designs, picked the winner, and the rest is history.

According to Miranda’s story, the group tattoo session lasted five hours. California tattoo artist Liq also worked his magic on Raven-Symoné, who is more experienced in the tattoo chair. “Bb’s too many to count tattoo,” wrote Miranda on an image of Raven-Symoné getting a new tattoo on her forearm. Maday also posted a pic of her designs, two cute heart illustrations on her upper arm.

From the look of photos circulating on social media from her Snapchat, JoJo Siwa was happy with the outcome of her first tattoo and was beaming in every shot. Sentimental and timeless seems to be the way to do it!
