The Corvo Reverso helped begin a renaissance at Jaeger-LeCoultre. Sales grew, and by the ’90s, there was increased interest in its most iconic model, the Reverso. The 1990s marked the true revival of traditional mechanical watchmaking after the quartz crisis. For JLC, this meant a series of six ground-breaking Reversos, bringing complications to the rectangular form for the first time, including a minute repeater, tourbillon, and a double-sided chronograph that served as the inspiration for this year’s Reverso Tribute Chronograph.
