Sure, 42mm is on the larger end of things but as Danny pointed out in his original review, it is historically accurate and helps with the legibility of the dial and bezel. Speaking of legibility the lume looks great. The new, exclusive to Longines, movement with silicon balance spring and magnetism resistance proves that the watch isn’t all good looks and no substance, and the open caseback and engraved rotor certainly seem like a hint of what’s to come with the Spirit line and any future movement innovations.
