The new 60.3-meter (198-foot) vessel, an innovative bespoke work of art built entirely of aluminum, has left the marina at the builder’s Ancona yard.
Ancona, Italy, February 2, 2023 – CRN M/Y 141, the new CRN pleasure yacht built entirely in aluminum, was delivered to her owners in December. After successfully completing her sea trials, the new 60.3-meter (198-foot) vessel has left the Ancona Superyacht Yard on her inaugural cruise across the Atlantic bound for the Caribbean.
The CRN M/Y 141 is a fusion of fluid power and taut poise with futuristic technology and dazzlingly dynamic external lines. She blends the in-depth expertise and tireless commitment to R&D of CRN—which developed the entire naval architecture for this bespoke yacht—with the tremendous experience and peerless Italian creativity of architects Nuvolari Lenard, who took care of the interior and exterior concept.
The knowledgeable owners were eager for a high-performance superyacht with a modest enough draft to cruise in the West Indies, using in-line propellers. They also requested airy, generous-height spaces and large guest and crew areas, which CRN delivered.
At 60.33 meters (198 feet) with a beam of 10.55 meters (36 feet) and a gross tonnage of 1,114, the M/Y 141 spans 5 decks and accommodates up to 12 guests and 13 crew in comfort. With her twin MTU engines, the yacht achieves a top speed of over 25 knots and can cruise at 22.5.
The yacht’s high-tech design has been devised with meticulous attention to every detail and is perfectly suited to cruising and mooring in shallow waters like the Caribbean. And her performance is genuinely remarkable for a displacement pleasure vessel in this market segment. The superyacht is also IMO Tier III-certified, assuring drastic reductions of up to 70 percent in harmful emissions of nitrogen oxides (NOx) in the engine exhaust.
A union of innovation and superlative craftsmanship, the M/Y 141 is a sublime expression of the expertise that unites all the talented professionals, technicians and artisans who work every day at CRN’s historic Ancona yard to create iconic yachts—unique, distinctive, cutting-edge projects that bring their owners’ vision to life and reflect their personality to perfection.
