The unit is 117sq m so if it sells for $3.125m, that equates to $26,709 per square metre, more than the square metreage paid for a 537sqm penthouse in Brisbane.
Dominos pizza boss Don Meij paid $12.95m for that penthouse, which is equivalent to $24,115 a square metre.
But it is not even the most expensive one bedder on the market.
A penthouse on Hastings St is listed for sale in the On The Beach Noosa resort with a price guide of $5 million.
It has a private rooftop terrace with a spa, BBQ and outdoor kitchen and has been renovated.
