I’m sharing how to be thrifty chic with sporty vibes for this latest outfit post. I have been so inspired by bloggers like Mireille and Jodie that find amazing clothing at thrift stores. I decided to try my hand at a local consignment store and scored two pieces.

Thrifty Chic with Sport Vibes
This Rag & Bone striped tank was my first thrift store find. (The other one is coming next week!) The colors caught my eye and the fabric is so soft. Getting it at major discount was a thrill. I knew that it would look great with my faux leather hoodie blazer and New Balance sneaks. When summer arrives, I will wear it on its own with new favorite cropped pants that I wore here. Yay for clothing that works in any season!
Come See Me at the Chicago Urban Art Retreat Center
I mentioned in last week’s post that I will be performing my new program Healing the Spirit Within One Note at a Time at my church on March 23rd. Click here for tickets. Can’t wait until then? Then come see it performed at Chicago Urban Art Retreat Center this Saturday at 2pm. It’s free which is a major plus! I reached out to this center because I love what they are doing. Here is the mission statement:
Chicago Urban Art Retreat Center (CUARC) seeks to bring people together by offering socially impacting art, positive programs, creative workshops, women retreats and volunteer opportunities that can engage a community.
When I read that statement, I knew I had to reach out and offer my program. If you are interested in attending, RSVP at contact@urbanartretreat.com. There will be some art creating afterwards. Perfect self care afternoon in my opinion.
What do you have planned this weekend? Happy early St. Patrick’s Day! XO
