In contrast to earlier Antarctique models, the latest emphasises the grey palette by using titanium for its case and bracelet – a first for the line – creating a tone-on-tone look that seamlessly matches the dark grey dial. To further enhance the watch’s understated style, the bracelet’s C-shaped links are brushed instead of polished.
The dial on the latest model features subtle design changes that make the watch more interesting. One novel feature is the “sector” dial, which deviates from the long hour markers traditionally found on a “sector” dial. Instead, the new model uses twin wide hour markers that run parallel to each other, resulting in a distinguishable appearance. In addition, removing the date from the dial ensures that the twin rings of hour markers remain uninterrupted, which helps to preserve the appeal of a “sector” dial.
